100 Days At Sea Wiki Editorial Policy

How this fan-made wiki separates verified data, community estimates and placeholder pages.

This policy is not a claim of official status. It exists so a solo site owner can publish verified pages gradually while keeping unverified database rows clearly labeled and noindexed.

This page uses checked-note fields for sources, confidence and last review date. Replace uncertain examples with verified in-game, official or community-checked information before publishing.

Confidence levels

Use high only for direct in-game verification. Use medium for official public sources or strong multi-source evidence. Use low for community leads. Use placeholder or needs-verification when a row exists only as structure.

Placeholder noindex policy

Placeholder entity detail pages should stay noindex until their name, source, key facts and checked date are reviewed. Sitemap priority is lowered for placeholder pages so the full database shape can exist without pretending every page is publish-ready.

Freshness checks

Codes should be checked at least weekly. Tier, build and value pages should be checked after balance updates and at least every two weeks when live. Boss, item, location and quest pages should keep dated source notes and stale warnings where appropriate.
